This yo-yo drives drunk, hits someone, and she’s a “leech” because she has the audacity to claim bodily injury? You gotta be joking. Too bad her injuries mean you don’t get to cheer for the NYJ’s tight end for two more games.
Agreed he shouldn't be labeled an alcoholic, he should be labeled stupid, irresponsible and a danger to society.
How desperate must Douglas be to replace one head case (Herndon) with another (Griffin)??? But if thats whats out there it is what it is... at least I hope Griffin can contribute to some wins for us
[QUOTE="Bowles Movement, I think I could label at least half the drivers on the road similarly whether or not they drive while drinking. By all reports this is a good kid who made a bad mistake You must be pretty special if youve never done something like that regardless of the outcome. [/QUOTE] Good people make mistakes and go to jail everyday. If you're getting an extreme DUI you should be in jail. If you're extremely drunk and get behind the wheel you're a danger to society, irresponsible and are putting other people at extreme risk. That's not a comment on whether or not his a good or bad kid. The fact that you compare an extreme drunk to the average driver pretty much says it all. In today's society if you have means and you go out and drink to the point of drunk on your ass and get behind the wheel you should be in jail. You can be stupid, irresponsible and a danger to society and be a good kid. I have no clue if he does this routinely or not and I have no issue with him as a person. I certainly did a lot of dumb shit when I was in my teens and early 20's. I had the advantage of living in NYC and didn't drive when I did them. Today after taking a handful of ludes and washing them down with a couple of fifths of Vodka I puke on my Uber app.
There is no excuse for a New York Jets player to get a DUI/DWI. The organization pays for a ride service that a player can call any time of night, no questions asked, for a ride.
