I'm starting to think BPA fails to trump a good player in a position of need. The BPA in a particular draft isn't always that great, and then your're still stuck with a big hole in your roster. The game changes too fast to NOT fill holes at every turn, even the draft. No GM wants to be the guy who passes on Von Miller for a TE the team needed at the moment, so there still has to be balance. But to always ignore need for PBA probably isn't the best blueprint to building a roster, given how often the BPA turns out to be a clunker.
Why do you feel the need to defend the indefensible? Because of his stupidity he got himself suspended, injured on his own time. Very selfish, very unreliable this Chris Herndon has been for the Jets in 2019. He's going to miss nearly half of the season, his absence has contributed to the Jets horrific 0-4 start. You think this makes you a good fan? Quite the contrary IMO.
Superfan right here. Tolerates, defends all kinds of stuff from Jets no matter how hurtful to the team. Get suspended for four games - no problemo Pull hammy on own time because he was suspended - no problemo. Viciously attack a fan upset with the player - check None of this will help the Jets win games but one's gotta do what one's gotta do to defend his superfan status.
