Ha, I watched the CNN 'Diana' docuseries (which is really just a tabloid festival) a few nights ago (I was bored). The only commercial was a CNN commercial that went on a repetitve loop to the tune of, "Burnett. Lemon. Cooper. Cuomo!" Then Chris Cuomo would strut around about Cuomo Primetime and say hi, I'm Chris Cuomo plugging his show. "We demand the truth from those in power!" CNN doesn't have the good sense to even delete any of that? Anyway, I wish I had a pen and paper to scribble it down verbatim, but it's a hoot.
Your assessment of the news media is so correct. It is very sad that many people on both sides think they are actually getting the real news from these so-called news outlets.
I was wrong about Chris Cuomo probably getting paid. It turns out that Chris Cuomo is not getting paid a hot red dime and he's suing CNN for $18 million, for what he would have been paid over the course of time if he wasn't kicked in his ass. Something like that . . . This gets funnier by the minute.
Unless CNN wants to settle for some reason Cuomo is going to wind up with a hot lot of nothing out of this.

I have to be honest, I don’t really see what Cuomo did that was so horrendous? I think he’s a piece of shit, but he talked to people behind the scenes about how he could help his brother? What influential people could he have possibly spoken to that affected the situation?

Chris Wallace is pretty much neutral as far as the political spectrum goes though. He’s just a solid reporter and is willing to criticize both sides regardless of his network. In fact he doesn’t really criticize. He just asks questions and will grill both parties with them.
I don't think that's the case here. Chris Wallace is pretty moderate... old school news guy... one of the few left.
I've seen him get critical on politicians and policy.... but yeah... he plays it pretty straight. Fox can afford to lose him... they've got other guys that can handle the news desk.
I think when it became known that he was using his position & resources to do oppo research on Andrew's accusers his employment became untenable.
