I think it might be worth exploring picking him up. he is on the downside but could provide some depth, leadership and blocking. some team will take a shot on him, wouldn't be surprised to see him go to the fins, eagles or boys.
So I wonder what our plan for tight end is? Because we obviously can't go into the season with what we have now.
Daniel Graham as blocking TE?? http://theadvocate.com/sports/3750630-32/tight-end-daniel-graham-carves TIGHT ENDS/FULLBACKS: In: Jimmy Graham, David Thomas, Michael Higgins, Jed Collins, Korey Hall Out: Daniel Graham, Derek Schouman What Could Change: The Saints could keep Daniel Graham if they want the extra blocking help, but they typically only keep a total of five tight ends and fullbacks. Higgins and Hall seem pretty safe, but they aren't roster locks because they don't play prominent roles on offense
manish tweeted something without any reference of a source...we dont know what he was reacting to...until i see cooley sign elsewhere, retire, or the jets flat out state they arent interested then im not putting much stock into manish's tweet. for all we know he could have been reacting to cooley's press conference. Daniel Graham is an interesting prospect for us. I'm honestly all for anyone so long as they are valuable blockers. The Jets best bet is to wait it out and see who gets cut. Cooley doesn't seem to be in a rush to sign anywhere since he stated he has some thinking to do. Come final cut downs, I'm fairly confident the Jets will do something at the TE position.
