Chip Kelly apparently annoyed at the firing of Gamble

Can we trade for Jeffrey Lurie?

 

This sounds even more fucked up than the Jets.

 

if chip likes gamble so much why fire him in the first place? I mean isn't that the guy he really wants to hire?

Roseman fires Gamble in a power play with Chip (and has the guy thrown out of the building) then Chip goes over Roseman's head to the owner. Howie gets kicked upstairs and Chip is now in charge of personnel and his first job is to hire a replacement for Gamble. Did I get it right?

 

I'd take Chip over Marrone sure but not for the 6th overall pick in the draft who I'm hoping is Cooper,

If I were a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist I would say that Kelly, Roseman and Laurie conspired. Kelly wanted more control over personnel, Gamble was Kelly's friends, Roseman played the heavy and fired Gamble and had him thrown out of the building. Roseman then gets promoted within the organization, Kelly gets more power. I would say, if I were a conspiracy theorist, that it all happened too fast and too neatly just to have been happenstance.

But I'm not a tin hat conspiracy theorist....
