Some kid that owned the Braves his last start against them had a no hitter going thru the 8th when McCann hit a solo HR. We still lost 2-1, top of the 9th with batters on 1,2 - 2outs. Andruw gets fanned nasty by Colome for the 3rd out. Look for it on Sportscenter. It's a stupid looking K and I'm a Braves fan.

Yeah, that's hilarious. No one is intelligent in the south. Just like everyone in the Northeastern part of country is a bunch of pricks with obnoxious accents.

That was intense. I was convinced Delgado was going to K.

Not a chance. One win is enough for me in this series, 2-4 through a six game trip to Philly and NY is passable at this stage.

Plus, Big Z is fixed now, so that's 8 innings of 1-run ball coming your way!

I agree Newhan has been terrible, i think everyone does. But i'll reserve judgement because of the way Jose Valentin turned it around after his AWFUL start last year. The only difference being Valentin got a chance to start and made the most of it, Newhan will more than likely not start at all this year.

Just got some sweet field level tix to Thursdays day game. (ah, the perks of being unemployed)

Does anyone know who will start this Thursday?

espn.com still has Pelfrey listed as the probable starter, but of course that won't happen now that he's been sent to the Minors. I'm PRAYING that it'll be El Duque. Any chance that'll happen?

Jason Vargas didn't make his scheduled AAA start last night. My guess is Alou to the DL and Vargas starts, or Gomez down and Vargas starts.

Maine walks the leadoff hitter. He walks way too many people (25 in 45 innings).
