Neither did I. I think we also have to be thankful that Calos II came up with the bases juiced, or else the cubbies would've been in the normal Delgado shift, and that would've been an easy DP

Wow, that's amazing. I've had meetings all afternoon, so I was only at my desk (and watching the Sopcast of the game) in the sixth inning, hardly a happy time. I was amazed to come back and see the big comeback. Have to give major props to the scrubbies Newhan, Gomez, Endy (well, Endy's not really a scrub, of course), and Gotay, with the combined 7 for 14, 5 runs, and 3 RBI, and Willie looks like a genius too. The Braves losing only makes it sweeter. I will skip the witty repartee that will no doubt be a major part of this weekend's series thread, and see you all in the Mets-Giants thread next week. Let's go Mets!
lmao it was great reading this thread when i got home from school and seeing everyone jumping off a cliff, then coming back to win it in the 9th. thank god 3rd is still alive, plus i thought he was gonna kill delgado. awesome win today, lets go get the yanks.
