wow - rip....
Another diabetes case?
damn, that sucks. he played for us a few years ago too...
remember going to t camp during the herm years and he was so fat he had to be put on the pup list and he was just standing there. knew he didnt have long when i read an article about him operating his own fast food restaurant prob just crushed burgs all day.
Sad news. I was just thinking about him the other day. He was a beast for the Raiders.
Jesus. 42 is way too young. In twenty years any parent who lets their kid play competitive football will have them taken away and put in a home.
Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be NFL players.
i regularly tell kids to dream about football paying for their college not to play in the pros.
its a goddamn shame that you would not want your kids to play, but this game has gotten out of control with the way that it is run. no man should be awarded for weighing 400 lbs.
per ESPN, he had recently lost a good amount of weight, undergoing lap-band surgery, but it may not have been enough to prevent heart issues. This looks like a recent pic of him with Stanford, so he's clearly smaller than when he was playing http://cdn.everyjoe.com/files/2011/11/chester-mcglockton-stanford.jpg
