I agree--I would not wait very long to move him ahead of Jones. Jones' defenders no longer have the "it's the offensive line" excuse.
I haven't written off Thomas Jones. I think he'll carry the load for us and do it effectively this year. The more carries he gets the better he performs. Chatman needs to see the field though. He did well for a porous Miami offense, and has a shiftiness to him that most don't have.
I like his bowling ball-like running style and his inability to quit. That year out of football must have put his mindset into never giving up. He's a great story, and if he can run like he did during Ratliffs 1 minute drill, he'll spell TJ and LW at times.
