i gotta say if any fan base resembles the fair weather mentality more than any other, its the dolphins. i got a few friends that are dolphin fans because marino got them wet back in the day, and every single one of them roots for other teams when the chips are down because they like a certain player on said other team or some other bullshit excuse. they all also think chad is the savior even though they have all seen first hand that he never makes it through 2 consecutive seasons without hurting something or blowing games with his underthrown ducks that hang in the air for about a minute a throw. bottom line is, the modern dolphins fan is a delusional, bandwagon jumping, knowledge lacking retard thats just happy getting by. obviously there will be others that do care and have a brain, but for the most part, they are just as gay as their teal and orange crappy colors.

the pats thing i see even more so since i went to school in boston during that whole run, so yeah a ton of people jumped on that bandwagon. and of course any team that wins will have bandwagon jumpers no matter what. thats common sense, and does nothing really to discredit what i said. what i mean is that for the most part (and i made this pretty clear and the retard dolphins fans that post on here have made it pretty clear too) they are fans that dont stick by their team. its pretty easily shown by the mostly empty stadium that they play in (even last year it took half the season for people to start going when they were winning). even their "die hard" fans dont have that killer instinct and want for more. they are just happy to be in the playoffs and have a winning record, and as soon as that goes they go away with it. they are spineless fans plain and simple.

The fact that Jet fans must constantly try to convince themselves they are better off without Chad or the fact that Chad went to NY in just his first season as a member of another team and beat the Jets in their own house to win the division, not only did they beat the Jets to win the division and make the playoffs, but they also prevented the Pats from making the playoffs for the first time in what 6 years....all that with Chad as their QB. The Jets couldn't seem to do the same when they had Chad and never once were the Jets coming off a 1-15 season, but Chad comes to Miami and does it and all us Dolphin fans are supposed to do is wake up and realize what a loser Chad is. At least Dolphin fans aren't trying to make up their own version of reality. Maybe the reason Chad was successful as a Dolphin is because the coaches in Miami don't give a damn how successful "Chad Pennington" was, maybe the reason Chad will be better as a Dolphin than a Jet is because the coaches in Miami care about how successful the whole team is not just one player. Chad won't be the whole team in Miami, unlike NY.
