It just so happens that the Jets, as of recently (the last 5-10 yrs) have owned the Dolphins. We focus on that because it's relevant to this time period. I couldn't care less if the Dolphins (or any other team) were better than the Jets from 1980-1992; those players and staff are gone now -- they bare no relevance on the current state of these teams. Same goes with the Pats. For the past decade they've owned the Jets, the Division, and pretty much, the NFL. We don't ignore that despite it being a negative for the Jets; in fact, we discuss the Pats' domination incessantly. It's relevant because it's still occurring and many of the same players are still battling each other. Whatever the Pats did in the '70s makes absolutely no difference in what they're doing now. Basically, you're posting stats that mean nothing to us whatsoever. But hey, whatever floats your boat...

I don't give a damn how you think Chad Pennington will play in Miami. I don't give a damn how he played in NY. You have no damn clue how Chads career will end or what he will do in Miami. So just because Chad did what he did in NY is no guarnatee he will do the same in Miami. The Jet fans biggest fear is that Chad does for Miami what he couldn't do in NY and so everything positive that's said about him by Miami fans is followed up by, some stupid comparison to what Jet fans thought. Everytime Chad throws an INT Jet fans are saying "see, we told you"! Told us what that a QB is gonna throw an int? BIG DEAL all QB's throw int's. Chad also won 11 games, that's a good thing. But Jet fans can't stand the fact that Chad won 11 games and the division as a Dolphin so they come up with the next best thing..."Oh, Chad will never win big games, you'll see". Just because Chad was a Jet, Jet fans think they suddely have psychic powers and everything he did as a Jet Chad will do as a Dolphin. As if Chad had perfect coaching, perfect protection, perfect WR's and a perfect Defense and the only person on the field to lose big games was Chad, whatever.

Whatever you need to say to convince yourself Chad won't succeed in Miami. Although it is a bit too late. 1 season, 1 division title. 1 season, breaking records. 1 season, having the best season of his career. That sure seems like a whole lot that went Chad and the Dolphins way. But you go ahead and keep pretending like "you know" what Chad will do in Miami cause so far, what "you know" and he's done aren't exactly the same things.
listen man i get what ur saying but listen to what some ppl are saying here. chad is an every other year guy. next year he will either get hurt or have a really bad year. and he cant win the big game. the ravens playoff game last year is the perfect example. like in 2004 we all blame brien but if chad plays better we dont have to rely on the kicker. then 2005 off year. and 2006 he cant beat the pats in the playoffs and throws a pick 6 that seals the game. its been like that every year since he as been our starter since 2002 im not saying miami wont be good next year but im pretty sure henne will be ur qb sometime this season. which im rooting for bc im also a michigan fan and as much as i dont want to root for you guys i hope he turns out to be a decent qb.
