So what does that have to do with our situation? We do not have a dominant D & the crystal ball says we are some seasons away even before we can think of having that supposed dominant D that you speak of because so many D players need replacing
There are maybe 5 teams in history that for a single season have had a defense as good as the one Dilfer steered to a super bowl win. There are many current backups in the NFL who could have steered that team deep into the playoffs.
Well I would not go as far as to say we would have won if KC was the QB but I would say at that time & what was required he was the QB that gave us the best shot
