"Parcells doesn't like Favre at 39; simple as that. But we do. I'm not saying he's right. But there's a serious difference of opinion -- otherwise we would have heard about him nosing around. Buzz Cook can't really keep secrets all that well when he's trying to get his guy what he wants."

    What about Testeverde and Bledsoe??

Both were players past their prime but Favre is coming off of a great season..

Think of the hype if its Favre vs noddlearm! Think of the sacks and the int's we are going to have! We just have to drop back 10 to 15 yards and stack the line just like all the teams did to us when he was here. Fielday 101 !!!!

Yeah, the really cool thing is they both have about the same head start on a brand new learning curve.

Makes it a little more of a level playing field, huh?

i think your lost son, anybody that judges our 1st team d after 1,2 series in the 1st preseason game, is lost.

and you wanna talk about last year? that was last year,

which by the way our d after the bye was ranked in the top 10.

the d should be solid this season, im not saying dominating, but solid

Chad is getting paid, that's all I'm saying.

Week 1 sure will be an interesting start to the season.

I didn't think it was possible, but Week 1 just got more dramatic.

Honestly, there is a GOD. I will tell you why.

I have dreaded the day the Pennington era would end. He has been my favorite player since drafting him in 2000. I wanted him to be a Jet forever and succeed, neither really happened.

Could there have been an easier way for me to lose my favorite player?

    A. I get Brett Favre as his replacement. (1 million times better than Chad)
    B. He goes to the freaking DOLPHINS! Now I have nothing else to do but hate him.

I can't even wish him well. I hope he makes it out of Week 1. It is doubtful. He is an IDIOT. They have no O-line. He is so screwed. Good God. and thus, There IS a GOD.

I don't understand this reaction at all.

Chad Pennington has every right to make whatever decision is best for him and his family.

You really think he owed the Jets and their fans any residual loyalty? That seriously makes no sense.

There had to be a better option than Miami for him. Any other team would be better. They are not going to contend, and he will not be protected. It is a bad move for himself. But for the loyal Chad fans its even worse since he is a Dolphin. I just don't get it.
