The Scene: Miami Locker room halftime...Jets up 21.
    Parcells stomps in looking agitated...

BP:Chad, you didn't tell us about any of those calls....
    CP:I don't undrstand it....?
    BP:Chad, You're a smart guy, but...
    CP:I just dont get it...
BP:What is happening to us out there???!?!?!?!?!
CP:I dont know...When I had the play book we didnt have any 20 yard throws like that

From a fantasy POV, Dolphins RBs are now even more crap than they were before today. Before today, there was uncertainty about who would get the carries and if Ronnie Brown would be as good as he was before he got hurt. Now, Chad will bring 10 gigantic men in the box since he can only throw 6 yards in the air. So, do not draft any Miami RBs in your FFLs. Unless we're in the same league, then, please, draft the Miami RBs!!!

With what Miami currently had at QB, can any of you really blame Parcells for wanting to add Pennington, seriously?? We're rebuilding down here, and having Pennington fill in for a year / two while Henne gets his feet wet should work out well for us in the long run...

    IN TUNA WE TRUST....

It was kind of a smart move I suppose. Pennington knows the playbook better than anyone else but $11.5 million for 2 years???

I'm actually kind of confused and scared... For $11.5 million Penny would have to know exactly where Hoffa's body is buried.

    Are the Phins crazy??

Parcells would not take Pennington if he seriously believed that the guy would not win for him. He's not a dope, and he's not sentimental about fucking football players -- maybe a little bit about horses, but that's it...

Why wouldn't they at least make an offer for Favre? I know Favre wouldn't have gone for it, but why not even take a shot?

Tavaris Jackson will show his true colors by the 3rd or 4th week. Chad as his backup would just be waiting with patience.

You have to love all the 2 year olds on this board. You give him 11.5 million and I'm sure he will be just as happs to sit at home.

Parcells doesn't like Favre at 39; simple as that. But we do. I'm not saying he's right. But there's a serious difference of opinion -- otherwise we would have heard about him nosing around. Buzz Cook can't really keep secrets all that well when he's trying to get his guy what he wants.

    I think NDMick is right.
Chad has bought into the coaching staff down there, not necessarily this particular roster. He believes they're on the way, and the difference is they want HIM to do it.
