man what a gem of a season that was...Talk about Cinderella stories.

NFL Network actually did a special a little while back about that very team, HOS, OJ Anderson, etc...Interesting group of people.

And of those QB's in your list, which of them had shitty teams surrounding them?

True, but in any given year there are between 2 and 6 excellent teams in the NFL... Often, the difference between those who win it all, and those who come up short, is how the QB performs under pressure....

Obviously you're not winning a SB with a crappy team, but you're not very likely to win with a good team either, if your QB is only average...

You need both a solid team and a top tier QB to consistently be a legitimate superbowl contender. With a solid team and a Pennington quality qb you are still a long shot to win the superbowl.

I think Chad actually handles the usual pressure quite well , its just closing those games out where his hand his forced when he can't handle it. Perfect example of that is the 4qtr against Baltimore which KC played. Chad could never in a million years have done that.

That is why we need a new Qb. To win a SB you need a guy who can rise to the occasion at some time during the playoffs.

At some point you will grow up and learn it is a team sport. The defense had a big hand in us losing some games. The OL had a big hand in losing us some games. Even Chad checked in and lost a couple of games himself for us. Hell even the CS has probably been cause for us to lose us some games.

You can't put this whole thing on one guy, but that seems to be your one and only thought.

If you read my previous post I never did put this on one guy. 75% of the team has to be overhauled. He was just a main piece that is part of whatis holding us back. Everyone is responsible for this mess.
