That throw is one of The most renowned catches of all time.... The fact is you are taking an isolated moment from Joe M's career to justify Chad's physical inability. Go back and look at Montana's ability to perform in clutch situations, vs. Pennington...not even close. Late..down by more than 3, Chad fails more often than not. That's not hate..that's observation. And when he fails..many times it's not in the EZ...it's an out route that goes for 6 the other way. I don't hate Chad. I was a max supporter when he was here. That does not keep me from realizing the truth about his abilities.
I agree with that. My earlier post (which you questioned) was in no way a show of support for Pennington. Pennington is not a good 2-minute drill QB. That said, Ginn should have caught the ball.
That toss as a 30/70 proposition against weak coverage (See your pic above) The difference is in the Mia game....the throw takes so long to get there the CB makes contact with the arm.
Riiiiight because this is a team sport so Chad gets the record So I guess Ronnie Brown is the 1st RB to lose a game when possessing the ball for 45+ minutes.... and Ted Ginn is the 1st WR to drop a Game Winning TD and lose a game when possessing the ball for 45+ minutes.... yeah yeah, we get it. You hate Chad, noodle , duck blah blah. The fact is the guy has more dignity and heart that most of his haters.....
Chad sucked in the 2 minute drill. But anyone with any football knowledge should know Miami lost because their defense gave up 27 points in 14 minutes. Making it seem like Chads lost the game is weaker then Chad's arm.
