    "offensive"? Gimme a break.

These are nicknames. You know, names given to players because they're fun. They ain't exactly sacred relics. Plus, alliteration is always cool.

And how exactly are Favre's skills "deteriorating"? He had one of his best years ever last year, singlehandedly carrying a Packers team that was supposed to be mediocre to a 13-3 record.

It goes to show how much times have changed and how respect for the 'nicknames' given are fading fast. There will always be only one "Broadway" for only one player. Those that don't remember or care to re-call why, most likely weren't around that period to relish it.

And yes, Bretts skills are deteriorating. Unless proven otherwise, that normally happens to professional athletes reaching a certain age on the other side of 35. Unless of course, he's taking something that modern day players find very usefull?

That's exactly my point. It has been proven otherwise. By the statistics he put up last season.

I'll give you that his skills have deteriorated from MVP winner to MVP runner up. But, hey, this year may just put him over that edge

Chad played for the Jets with as big a heart as any QB in the NFL. The injuries did him in. We all saw that. I wish Chad had stayed injury-free for his career. He didn't, and now the Jets did the best thing by moving on. Chad's a good guy, but we need a QB that can throw the ball down the field. So now we have a hired gun for a couple of years. If he gets the Jets to the SB, it's worth it. There is no SB with Chad or Clemens.

Now, ya'll boys ought to brace yourself...you been telling yourselves funny lies about Chad for some time now.

Just listen to what Cotchery had to say. Chad's ankle anad ligaments are healed up now from last year. His balls are coming in there with a lot more zip says J-Cotch.

Don't be surprised that Sporano has Chad coming out throwing downfield while Ricky is hassling us like crazy as he is running off tackle, and sliding outside.

We will need to keep that angry and slighted man off the field to win that game.

Just hope to hell that our offensive line is up to snuff.
