    wiseass :)

once a man is found not guilty the term murderer really has no place being used. before trial you can call him an alleged murderer all you want. once vilified he is just a normal person like you and me. yes i know its semantics, i just dont like the fact that people are still all caught up in something like this. almost like they cant let it go.

i would take that man on my team any day. what a great player with a great football attitude.

    Yeah, but think about it:

    2004 mostly healthy: Playoffs
    2005 injured: none.
    2006 healthy: Playoffs
    2007: bad team all over
    2008 healthy: Playoffs

My point overall is that the media is going crazy with Chad lately. He is literally the same QB this year as he has ever been when healthy. He just has better playcalling and smarter schemes and a cupcake schedule around him.

Chad Pennington should be the MVP this year, in my eyes he is the MVP. In 04 he started out great until he got injured and was never the same again, until this year. .

The fact that you think it was the coaching staff that kicked Chad to the curb in favor of Favre makes this post pure comedy. The coaching staff is pretty much gone. Favre is still here. It was Woody that wanted Favre. But go ahead and dance on Mangini's grave if it eases your little mind.

Official Chad lover here. I've always felt that Chad had as many or more fans in the Jets world as he had enemies, but the Chad haters are just louder and more aggressive about pushing their view. I'm glad that Chad is having the last laugh on Mangini and all the Chad haters. Go Fins!

I can't wait till Chad retires so theres no more of these constant threads kissing his ass. He did shit for the Jets and took 64 mil of their money.

Taking the team to the playoffs three times is worthless

I'd rather watch Brett Favre's deep balls

I think you are trying to down play Chad's effectiveness. Despite an "easy" schedule, he took a 1-15 year team with considerably less talent to a Division Title and the playoffs. Sure, he had some help in games from the defense and from the running game early on, but Chad played a lot better than I've seen him play for us. More deep passes, and more passes with zip on them. You could almost say he was possessed or motivated to raise the bar on his prior performance. I think it helps that the Jets put a chip on his shoulder by showing him the door.
