Interesting. Isn't it all relative, though? If you don't hold back the 8th graders over time, then the students above them won't be that much bigger. But I guess once the cat is out of the bag, you can't help but perpetuate the practice.

Hopefully, he'll be coaching there sooner rather than later.

    8th grade

Actually it was because Chad started school early due to his precocious nature and then when he got into sports and moved to a private school it was the perfect time to allow him to "catch up" with his class in terms of physical maturity. This is often done in the South and West. As a middle school coach of over 35 years albeit not football for quite a while (just Wrestling now) I have seen this work out for the best and vice versa. It also could have been due to his birthday making him the youngest in his class. Just .02 from an old Marshall and now confirmed J-E-T-S fan.

Pennington has already proved that he is not capable of being a great quarterback.

First of all no he hasn't, second of all since when does it take a great Qb to win a SB? The only thing Pennington has proven at this point is he is a winning Qb..

...who can't throw a sideline route on time unless he releases the ball half a second after the snap.

There's no point in getting into this because I've said how I feel about Chad, and I don't feel like typing that much again.

Well the one thing I agree with you about is there is no point getting into this. You guys have your misguided agendas against Chad and that won't change until he wins a SB, even then it probably won't change with you guys..

The only people with 'misguided agendas' in relation to Chad are the ones who can't come to terms with his limitations.

who can't come to terms with his limitations? He doesn't have a strong arm, that is very obvious.. It is also obvious that hasn't stood in his way to becoming a winning QB for this team.

Winning percentages for QBs are a loser's argument, or an argument for a Dolphins fan. Chad's limitations, however, HAVE kept the team from beating some contending teams. And that will keep you from winning a Super Bowl. When your OC has to gameplan around the QB's inability to get the ball to the receiver on even intermediate routes, that is a rather large issue.
