The top Corners have been taken out of the market. So, who is left? We are bringing in Captain Munnerlyn. There is the option of bringing back Cromartie or bringing in a guy like Cortland Finnegan.

Cap Munnerlyn is a good slot corner. I hope he signs with us.

    Finnegan is "done."

So far its looking like Cromartie is coming back and Munerlyn will be replacing Kyle Wilson in the slot. I think Munerlyn will fit very well with what Rex likes to do, he's a tough player and a great blitzer that can also tackle. He's also bring some much needed playmaking at the nickel so I'm on board with that. As far as an outside corner Cromartie is probably our best option for continuity and some leadership.

I've read some reports also linking us to Brandon Browner, I'm not sure how I feel about that he can play but he can't stay clean.

A hard hitting CB to play slot would be great with the way NFL passing attacks are going, especially when we play the Pats.

I like Munnerlyn. Seemed like every time I watched him play he was constantly making plays. We definitely need to address CB in free agency though. We can't have our current starters and we don't want Millner and a rookie as our starters either. We need some veteran presence.

I thought I read somewhere that we had a visit with Munnerlyn scheduled. I hope that's the case and that something gets worked out with him.

DMC is still out there, my opinion is he's very similar in play as to Cro, but younger. Id take him in a second if it wont cost us a fortune.

Umm so if Munnerlyn was coming in to replace Wilson, where's Wilson going? You think he's going to be traded?
As much as we bag on Kyle, he's done pretty well in the slot and we don't really need an upgrade there, we need an outside cb

Wilson is good but he doesn't impact the game at all, no turnovers, Munerlyn can actually get us some much needed turnovers and you can never have too many corners.

Fair but if we sign Munnerlyn, we still need another outside cb. I would be cool if they brought in Captain and then brought cromartie back on a small deal

I agree I said that in my earlier post, if we sign Munerlyn I fully expect him to be a nickel and we'd still need an outside corner. Expect to see Cromartie back at some point.

Idzik is gonna take bpa, it's something we're gonna have to get used to... corner is a need and if there's a corner he loves that's available he may very well take him

Munnerlyn plays the slot so where does that leave Kyle Wilson> Also keep in mind 1 of Captains 2 picks were agains the Jets, and so were 2 of his 3 sacks last year. Defensive backs loved playing against us lol
