I feel MUCH better with Marcus Williams on the outside and Skrine the slot master. I want to see how Dee works into the rotation now that he's back into the fold. Walls as well. Just wish the safeties were healthy. With Pryor and Bailey likely out, it's really just Gilchrist and Miles at safety...crazy thin there.
Does anybody else think Walls makes more sense backing up our safeties than our CBs at this point? He's a bigger, faster guy, but he can't jump....like if he can't step over it, he ain't getting over it. Can he tackle?
This. I think Tommy Bohanon would have the same results as Stacy returning kicks...keep Cro out there. Interesting how Revis has one more target than Cro considering how bad he has been
At this rate Cro would have to KR seven TD's per game to make up for his shitty CB play through 9 weeks and the 10+ mil. he's gonna make this year.
I think one things for sure, Revis is going to be an excellent free safety in a four or so years when his skill set begins to diminish. He's so cerebral it's amazing. Look at Charles Woodson still terrorizing quarterbacks at age 39 over the top. Hopefully Revis stays around here to do the same thing.
The guy he pushed for that's giving up nearly a touchdown per game isn't making him look any better either.
How much is he going to make this year with the guaranteed money and his base salary? I might be totally off, feel free to correct me.
I didn't want to start a whole new thread for this, but I'm curious about where everyone one feels Dee fits in. Cro has hurt us quite a bit this season and Williams has looked pretty good, when Dee has played in the past he seemed to start trending upwards but just can't stay healthy. Do we trust him and see how far his potential goes? or do we error on the side of caution givin his injury history. I hope Willams gets his chance with us going forward but I'm torn on Dee.
7 million in 2015. 5 in base salary, 2 with a roster bonus. the other 25 million is completely un-guaranteed.
