Lawson isn’t a top tier pass rusher Lawson is the best pass rusher we’ve had in a decade. Both statements can be true. But we don’t really know until he steps on the field.
Do you not watch anyone but Jets? If I showed you the fantasy football league I belong to it would blow your mind. We have a draft day at a Casino, where we rent out a room with food and drinks, it’s an all day event, with plenty of research done on tons of players, we have a commissioner of the league. It’s not animal house either, everyone’s wives and girlfriends can come and enjoy the evening, we do have a lot of fun, we rent out a block of rooms so no one drives home drunk.

Well trading out requires a willing partner who will give us the right value. If someone does, then yes, of course, but if they don't, then I take whichever of Okwanu or Neal is there.
I agree, you need a partner. But, with the interest in QBs trading back seems much more possible now than it did a month ago when a QB in the top 10 seemed unlikely. Now, with 4 teams allegedly interested in trading up there is the possibility of a market developing. But, I will say this is a very unpredictable year and draft. Things seem extremely fluid with nothing set in stone. Normally, by this time many teams have tipped their hands. Last year we knew the Lawrence and Wilson were locks as well as a QB at 3. This year we know so little with so many rumors. I am expecting the unexpected and expecting that whatever I think I know is likely wrong. Only 3 weeks until draft day!!!

I have to agree the Bills poster statement that when healthy Lawson was not a very good player was ignorant and yes outrageous. It was a pure trolling statement going to a rivals fan board and rubbing salt in the wound to a fan base that had their best player suffer a tragic injury. How is this troll post not ban worthy? i'll play devils advocate here, most fans don't know shit about players not on their team (hell most barely know about players on their team) so they just look at stats and if you look at lawsons stat wise only it's not very impressive plus adding in last season and all the missed games he does look like a low performing injury risk to someone uninformed. it's also pretty fair to say we can't expect much from a guy who's never had a 10 sack season and is coming off a major injury
He didn't say he is not a good player now. Rather, he said that when Healthy Lawson is not a very good player. That statement is pretty hard to defend. PFF ranked him as the 9th best edge player in 2020. He had 64 QB pressures in 2020. When a Bill's poster comes here and said our best player who just suffered a catastrophic injury was not a very good player before he got hurt. That is absurd. It is a troll post that is pretty obviously made to mock our suffering. How could he have not been banned for this post? In what world is this an acceptable post?
To say that Carl Lawson when fully healthy is not a good player is not a legitimate opinion. It is not a conclusion that an intelligent person could make. It is a troll post designed to derail the thread, piss people off and create drama and rub in the fact that our best player, Lawson, suffered a catastrophic injury. This forum should be about intelligent discussion and exchange of meaningful ideas. Not garbage designed to taunt and inflame. Ignorant posts, posts designed to derail, posts that are completely unsupported by fact and posts designed to piss off and make fun of Jets fans should not be tolerated.
