Hahaha. Well put - Polamalu does seem to have some otherworldly ability to be in the right place at the right time. As far as Rhodes play, it's a bit hard to criticize him at this point because he's been a solid piece to a D that's been playing extremely well this year. No, he hasn't had a lot of big plays so far, and yes, I would like to see him used as a blitzer more often, but the guy is far from a liability - nothing to complain about.
The Darren Sharper effect? Seriously, all that guy does is sit back there and wait for picks. I don't know the last time I saw him actually cover someone.
Kerry's problem became clear to me a few weeks ago when he was tweeting about multiple "engagements" (photo session, acting thing, or some such crap) on one day in the middle of a game week. I completely agree with Banks' assessment that he is "distracted". He's way too busy trying to build his after-football career, when he should be focusing 100% on his football career. His play this year has been average, and he is being paid to be way better than average...and is in a system that he should be thriving in. The man needs to focus on football!
