Seriously, to not have an answer to what these car sized objects -hovering- in the sky, is beyond ridiculous

“Multiple sightings” being reported here in coastal SC. Whether it’s the same, or just some people who have drones trying to join in… stay tuned. Someone will definitely shoot at them here though .

I don’t think there’s anything they would love more haha. There will be loaded roving pickups on drone patrol.

Who, exactly, should shoot them down? And with what justification? Confusion?

I've seen the "reports" of car sized objects. I have seen no such reports from legitimate sources. Have there been politicians reporting a "mother ship" off the Carolinas as well as New Jersey?

Easy Christmas shopping this year - everybody on my list gets a drone!

what do we pay all that money for “homeland security” for. They should shoot em down.

Things could get messy if/when the landowners take things into their own hands and I honestly wouldn’t blame them

Does Homeland Security have anti-aircraft crews ready to respond to any location at any time?

People have already taken potshots at drones flying over their backyard barbecues, I can't wait until they get out their AR15s and start targeting Cessnas and 737s. BTW - people own land; they do not own the air above it.

Again, what's the justification for anyone or any agency shooting down anything - especially if they have no idea what they're shooting at?

They are breaking the law by flying their aircraft like that so if anyone has to justify their actions its the drone operators.

Airlines and private pilots are breaking the law by flying legitimate aircraft "like that"? Where is the law that permits anyone to shoot anything down, other than, perhaps, the military?

Where is this hysteria coming from?

Yeah - did I miss the one that allows them to be shot down?

My best guess is 2009-ish but I keep losing the thread.
