Now that Abe is off the books - we're sitting pretty at 22 million. This is as I understand it - anyone else have info that differs?

We don't have to go crazy and spend - just good to know the money is there if our FO deems someone worthy. Woohoo. Rebuilding is a fun process if you keep things in perspective! Here's to the Jets going an 8-8 this season!

Bottom line is we have a shitload of cap room. Hopefully we can get a big impact player. Are there any still available? Nate Clements?

Would be better off with Matt Clement.

Nah, don't break the bankt his year. All the impact players that could have helped (Bentley, Schaeffer, McGinest) are gone. Only one we could get would be like Arrington, Law or Woodson. All old and shady.

Grab a couple more role players, draft well and be ready to get some good players next year like the Browns did.
