WR: Dez Bryant Mike Crabtree Hakeem Nicks Roddy White Reggie Wayne Damaryius Thomas Jordy Nelson Wes Welker Nate Washington Jeremy Maclin Eddie Royal Kenny Britt Santana Moss That list + 50+ mill in cap is just beautiful
The Cowboys had to let Ware walk because they were over the cap, but now they have $10mil in cap room? Some of the numbers don't look right.
Looks good now, but I don't expect it to look quite that good down the line. I don't expect the ones in bold to hit free agency. I didn't bold Crabtree, cause I think there's a chance with him, but even that's not a guarantee. The rest are either old, injury prone, have legal/mental issues, or not that great.
Id love crab, nicks, or welk in our offense. Keep a very close eye on that Dez situation too.. Never know with dallas
This is good news, it leaves out options wide open, seems smart to me, guess we'll see how it plays out
No secret. I had some time so I copied the data from your link, pasted it in excel, formatted it and took a screenshot and saved the screenshot as jpeg and uploaded the image on a site and copied the ljnk here.
Agreed on Crabtree. I think there's a small chance he could hit free agency. Let's see how Nicks does this year (he signed a 1 year deal). He'd been interesting, but I think he's done. The injuries have ruined him. Plus, he's always had some character issues. Not sure he'd be the kind of player Idzik would want. Not to mention, Idzik didn't really make an effort to go after him during this free agent period (granted, Nicks may not have wanted to come here, but..). I think Welker will start declining. Age might catch up to him this year, so not sure Idzik would invest a whole lot into him.
Cant argue these points here .. My man Welker (crazy i never thought I'd say those 3 words...F patriots) declined after the broncs bye week terribly
It might not come to this point but Id give Dez or Demariyus 15 mil a year. Both of those guys will have better numbers than Megatron this season. And since both players QB's situations arent exactly set in stone for the next 3-5 years it could be interesting to see if they test the market.
I agree with this. Much will depend on how the rookies from past couple years pan out, but I'd like to see us get that line fixed more than anything. It's possible Winters or somebody else could emerge, but DaBrick and Mangold are getting up there in age. It seems inevitable that we'll add more next year.
It will be nice when Idzik drafts our next D'Brick and pays him $2m/yr for 5 years instead of the $10m+/yr he's paying now. Same with Harris and Mangold.
it gets me really excited to think that harris, magold, brick, pace(and potentially our number 2 corner spot) are litterally the only old starters on our team. 50 mill and 7 more picks (atleast) will fix that right up
