Could see New England at 3-3, but more likely 4-2, and us at 3-3. Even if we're 4-2 and they're 3-3, if they beat us Week 7 which they probably will, they'll have the tiebreaker and be well on their way with their cake of a second half schedule to putting us down in our usual second place .. err .. place. Now of course if we win, that would be spectacular and would REALLY help our chances of making this thing interesting until at least December. You think our second half of the season schedule is soft? Look at New England's. Aside from San Francisco they face no one and go on the road to nowhere difficult.
of course it is possible ... strong possibility the pats lose this weekend. There is so much football to played .. real season doesn't start til after thanksgiving ...
Until the Jets show they can beat a good team, which they didn't do all of last season (and Pitt this year), I can't see them passing NE for first.
I have a good feeling about our chances against the Texans at home, but the 49ers game scares me even if it is at home. Our matchup against the Pats is going to be huge. We win that game and we are in the driver's seat for the division, IMO. This team has a lot to prove in the next couple of weeks.
IMHO I dont see you guys winning another game until wk 11 against the Rams. Well you can count week 9 your bye , when you can beat yourselves.
Ah, okay, my mistake, so they have two tough games after Week 6. They'll be 11-5. Jets won't. We're fighting for 9-7, 10-6. Just the way it is. We're not as good as New England.
I can imagine the Jets being ahead of the Pats before week 7 because they already are. I can imagine the Jets being ahead of the Pats at week 7 if Brady goes down or his performance falls off a cliff due to age. Both prospects exceedingly unlikely but possible. The reason the Pats are ahead of the Jets every year is that they've identified the most important thing to their teams winning: Tom Brady's intermediate passing game, and they've done everything possible to make it more effective.
Hello Phintaztik and Welcome aboard The GangGreen.com Message Board! I have heard it said and believe it to be true that eye sight is correctable with new eye glasses or maybe a "Jerry Jones Wipe" will help your vision problem. :rofl2: Since seeing is believing it is my hope you return here after this game. I have seen the future, however, I signed a non-disclosure. Best of Luck to Mrs. Lauren Tannehill's husband this afternooner.
The only way the Pats are 3-3 by week 7 is if Tom Brady gets hurt or has a real decline, neither prospect seeming very likely right now. The Pats haven't been .500 or worse at game 7 since 2005. That's about the same time that Tom Brady became the absolute focus of their offense.
They are going to lose tonight and be 1-2. Their next 3 games are winnable. That's why I said they will most likely end up 4-2. But there is a chance they might lose in Buffalo. So 3-3 is not out of question
