dude, chill out. i'm not attacking you; i'm partcipating in the general debate. initially, i didn't even know this thread was about you. a question was asked. i answered. then i replied to a comment, expressing my opinion. if you don't like it, then maybe you should move on. this is a valid topic and one that's both relevant and common to everyday sports.
The answer to the question is NO! As in nope, nada, not quite, never in a million years, no f@$#ing way, no chance, never in a million years. Being a Jets fan and being a Dolphins fan are mutually exclusive (same with Patriots and Bills). If they are not mutually exclusive for you, then you, my friend, are not a real Jets fan. End of story.
yeah, you have to. it's hands-down one of the funniest movies i've seen. i mean, it's a stoner movie (i'm not a stoner, i don't smoke anymore), but there's more to it than just cliche stoner jokes/scenarios. definitely worth devoting 90 minutes to.
ayfkm? No way in hell can you be a fan of both. The Phins are my most hated team in sports. Even more so then the pats. If they finished 1-15 for 5 years in a row and then moved to LA would be about the only way i could handle it. :finssuck:
i dont think you can be a fan of any two or more teams..i have a friend who routes for the falcons, the browns because of last season, vikings because of peterson, and the jets because of i bring him to a couple of games....and oh yeah, the giants cuz they won the super bowl.
are you kidding me? Parcells is a great coach and did great things for the jets, but this is the fish we are talking about! They are the enemy like the pats and the bills, i hope the team planes crash into each other and the debris takes out the bills broke down greyhound!!!!!!! are you kidding me?
Phins, Pats, and Bills are strictly off-limits. These are teams that must be hated to be a true Jets fan. If you live in the area of any of these teams, you must rock your Jets gear and mock opposing fans mercilessly when the Jets beat them. If they mock you when the Jets lose, they must be kicked squarely in the nuts.
I tried to picture what a person who claims to be both a Jets and Fins fan would look like and the first image that popped into my mind was Richard Simmons.
I can't stand those 'fans', growing up we use to call them "funny fans". I have a friend who's a Dolphin fan (born and raised in FL), also roots for the Browns and Bengals because his father is from there. Also roots for the Cowboys because of TO.
My father is a Giants fan so I could never wish for anything bad to happen to them (except when they play the Jets or when there is a really obnoxious Giants fan at the bar that I want to shut up) and I REALLY enjoyed watching them beat the Pats in the Superbowl. I also agree that there is no way you could root for two teams in the same division. All division rivals are to be hated and despised!!! The only way I can root for another team in our Conference is if by their victory, it helps the Jets. If not, they can all rot.
1. Absolutely not and if anyone does they should be beaten with a 2x4 2. Being a NY fan, I do root for the Giants when they are not playing the JETS 3. There is nothing wrong with rooting for players on other teams that you like, for instance I will always root for people like Santana Moss and Vilma but only individually, never for that team..
