Can Week 17 be flexed to Sunday Night?

    For the division yes, but I believe they will both be in the playoffs. I have a bad feeling it will be Jets/Bills

    If it can be I think it will be. Too many good story lines for the media to talk about.

    1. Jets win and they are in

    2. Rex trying to keep the Jets out of the playoffs

    3. Fitz returning to Buffalo to try and get the Jets into the playoffs

    4. IK sucker punching Geno to make Fitz the default starter, getting cut, and then signed by Buffalo.

    Can they wait until after Minnesota/NYG tonight to decide what gets flexed? I think I remember previous years the announcement of the flexed Week 17 game coming at latest during the half of SNF. I ask because if Arizona beats Green Bay, and Minnesota beats the Giants, then GB vs. Minnesota with the division on the line seems like the most logical candidate for flexing.

    I believe it will be GB and Minn because even if Minn loses now, next week is still for the division.

    It will probably be Minny / GB now. The only thing I can think of why they might not pick that game is that like all the damn flexed games have been FOX games so far. FOX is probably pissed and pushing them to flex Jets/Bills

    Should be MIN/GB for NFC North championship game. If the Jets were home argument could be made for us to host SNF but the only thing Buffalo has going for them is Rex trying to spoil our playoff chances. NBC should play it smart by choosing the easy option in GB/MIN. There is a chance we could have a spot clinched by Sunday night and rest some guys if we were flexed.

    The Jets have other ways of clinching.
    1. Steelers loss vs. Browns
    2. Broncos lose Final 2.

    If either happens, Jets-Bills will be worthless. So likely no Flex.
