I'm terrified of next week. Hackett had Wilson looking lost. BB is going to have him thinking retirement.
Let me play devil's advocate... It looked like Zach knew he fumbled and couldn't recover it so he tried to whack the ball out of bounds. The defense rests your Honor. May the court show mercy...
Thats exactly what happened. As awful as it looked, and as awful as it was, it was actually a fairly heads up play. On the first glance watching it live it looked like he made some pathetic pass attempt. And even the announcer cried out "he tried to do too much" or something like that. But that wasn't true at all when we got to see the replay.
Sam Darnold was statistically better than Wilson in year 1+2. Year 3, his play started to dip to a level comparable to what Wilson is showing now and people were done with him. i think Wilson has a better offense around him too. Wilson better get his head out of his ass. If Wilson is this bad in practice, maybe Moore wanting out is not as crazy as we all think.
Yep. And he definitely has that going for him. With that said, I can't see us winning against the Patsies when your QB looks like Mark Sanchez without the turnovers and your best RB is shelved for the season......
Justin Herbert had the best rookie QB season in history and followed it up with 66% completion, 38 TDs and 15 INTs his second year. That tends to buy you more benefit of the doubt than someone like Wilson who was a bottom 2-3 QB in the NFL his first season.
This is the big thing. He needs to learn to quickly and properly set his feet. I think he may have fallen in love with the "off-platform" narrative and it led him to believe he doesn't need proper footwork. His accuracy is awful when he doesn't set his feet which is often.
I was specifically referencing his performance against Denver. Which was at home in ideal weather conditions btw. This Denver D is legit was my pint.
