I was hoping Amaro's performance might take off the edge of Idzik's draft failure. But it's total, isn't it. The guy absolutely f-cked us in terms of player depth and quality for years to come.
The one guy that could throw it deep, got him injured in practice They were both kind of the same TE, no doubt - I thought Keller was a little more talented though.
We will be talking about these 2 draft classes for years to come, and not in a good way either. I have NEVER seen such shitty luck when it comes to drafting players. Never. We should've taken Idzik to a witch doctor prior to hiring him, this guy was hexed from the start.
Odell Beckham Jr started the season injured last year right? Hopefully Devin Smith can have a similar season.
Amaro had 106 receptions and 1400 yards in his senior year with some bum named Baker Mayfield throwing to him...I think he could do better if we had somebody who could.
In all seriousness I believe Zach Miller is still a free agent, he had an ankle injury but my understanding is he should be ready to play week 1. he contributed a decent amount to a championship team.. might be worth a vet min.
yeah if he had a QB, then the only things holding him back would be speed, hands, route running, blocking, and the ability to play inline.. damn Geno...
Inflated #s in that college offense, I think they called that offense the Air Raid offense. I think he can do better as well at this level, I think he was a tad bit overrated though coming out of college. I hope he comes back healthy soon because I can't stand Cumberland.
Yeah probably but he didn't drop 106 balls, he caught 106 so if we had a qb that could throw the ball he would have more than the 38 he caught last year and yeah I do blame Smith for most of it.
Sounds that way. It's almost as if he was intending to kill the team. He had his supporters around here, too. FO Homers. WOnder how they feel now. They know who they are.
