https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/...jcn5oxacjsqxlsgoe-story.html#rt=chartbeat-flt I guess they had a theft problem in there.. Either that or some real pervy shit is happening..
Maybe it's a try-out for "America's Funniest Home Videos." Does Mehta's article mention if it's only video surveillance or if the cameras capture both audio and video? If the surveillance equipment captures audio, the Jets could have a problem under the state and federal wiretap statutes. This is not the kind of shit the team needs. I'm sure it will make Trevor Lawrence really want to come to Florham Park, and it sure is an enticement for free agents to come here. I guess we'll just have to file this under Stupid Jets Tricks. Once again, the Jets leave us either laughing or shaking our heads in disbelief.
Boss I love you. But can you let us know the link you provide is a Manish article so we don't click and give him a hit count? Asking for a friend
Sometimes Brook, you have to put down the prejudices and deal with the message. In this case, the Jet players really did file a grievance and the story is legit. Not everything Manish reports is garbage. The mark of a good writer isn't that everyone loves him, but that sometimes everyone hates him. Means basically he's calling it down the middle. Liking Manish or not doesn't mean the story was bogus. Try not to kill the messenger..
The article says that the Jets are within the NFL CBA rules and no other action needs to be taken by the team. “Jet players filed a grievance” could literally mean 2 players. The only one to give a quote was an anonymous “former-jet”. I wonder who’s been sitting at home for the last few weeks with nothing better to do?
Didn’t the article say it’s been there since ‘08? Was Mangini and the guys after him worried about an uprising? Why film your own guys?
Well said CMan, well said! "The mark of a good writer isn't that everyone loves him, but that sometimes everyone hates him. Means basically he's calling it down the middle". Couldn't have said it better myself.
Looks like a nothingburger as players knew they were there all along. https://www.nj.com/jets/2020/11/jet...s-players-knew-they-were-there-all-along.html
Sad that this is the most significant "news" we have to pass the time until this dreadful shit storm of a season FINALLY ends. FFS.
It’s coming from a former beat reporter with an axe to grind. the jets are actually doing a decent job of just being a really(a lot of really’s) bad team and not a bad team with everyone at each other’s throats.
LOL WTF . I can't with this ... The need to tear it down and start from scratch has now extended to 69 Jets Drive .. "Jets players are looking for help to put an end to a disturbing workplace that has included hidden cameras in the locker room for more than a decade. The Daily News has learned that Jets players and their representatives alerted the NFL Players Association in recent weeks about what appeared to be surveillance equipment hidden in smoke detectors in the Jets locker room."
with their record, who would want to watch them in the first place? you can immediately rule out the cheer squad......
Players know about stuff like that and they talk. It’s stupid. Take the damn cameras down and become a respectable organization for once
