Conservative Mangini and Company are most responsible for this loss yesterday. Like Joe Walton rising from dawn of the dead, Mangini waits until the 11th hour to pull the plug on his running game and give his QB license to go no huddle and throw the ball. The continuing absence of Leon Washington from the passing game is asinine. The thick-headed decision to keep your mobile QB locked in the pocket, allowing the defense to charge blindly to the hole certainly cost Clemens a few more shots to the body. I would love to have seen a boot leg, pass-run option near the goal line at some point yesterday. I would love to have seen Clemens take the snap and run over the left side when the Ravens where playing the imbalanced front and there were no defenders over Ferguson and Clarke. I would love to see the same daring that Mangini exhibited last year when he have nothing to lose.
