There's a difference between saying "shit", and calling people assholes, which is what you did and got banned for.
The thing about Chad's PA: there was no running game, and that was the O-line's fault, and the O-line is the O-line coach and FA's fault. Seriously, if noone respects the run, you're scrwwed when it comes to PA....it will just make the QB get sacked even more. It's pretty bad when a team can basically not worry about Thomas Jones.
the starter is sensitive... cut him some slack... p.s. kaka, doodie, poops (i just said shit three different ways, grow up) p.p.s. brb, gotta take the browns to the superbowl (get it?)
Hey... thats not right... Chad has been one of my favorite players as Jet, but you need to know when to put the fan away, and re-capture your football sense. That being said, Chad can still be good... a good back up, but a full time starter... not unless he has the Cowboys of the 90's O-Line, otherwise he's a once decent starter turned back-up who will eventually fade into obscurity, much like a Green Bay QB some know, before Favre. the Charlie Brown Teacher Strikes Again!!!!! I've never met a poster who can say nothing in so many words
NCAA football and NFL football are quite different. Some of the greatest minds in the NCAA could not achieve greatness in the NFL. Callahan has proven he is a good OC and a good O-line coach...yet a bad HC in the NCAA. He adopted a good Raiders team that was outplayed by a Bucs team who had a coach that built that Raiders team. If the Raiders played any other NFC team in the playoffs they would have won the SB. Stop being so cynical
Makes no difference he was FIRED right? Now he has been out of work for what 6 or 8 weeks & if he was such a DYNAMITE coach as you say why were none of the other 31 teams in the NFL have been banging down his door to hire him? Also he was hired as the "Asst" HC & if Man is canned or quits & he becomes the new HC would that tingle your toes? That thought scares me though. As for success on the NCAA level can you say Pete Carroll for one?
Champ, who would you have hired? Callahan has a ton of coaching experience which is sorely lacking on the Jets. He also was in charge of some very good offenses in Oakland.
Champ, We didnt hire him to be vice president of the United States. If Mangini were to get fired...they would all be fired. He was hired for the offense. Some OC's that go on to be head football coaches never can make the change....they then go back to what they were good at and succeed. The guy does have a pretty good track record. If they fired Mangini and hired him to be head coach...I could understand your concern..but thats not even close to being the case.
