Wouldn't that be nice?! The veteran leadership we have on our team will have this team ready for any challenge we will have to face in the coming weeks. I don't expect to see a letdown.
The loss to the Raiders was horrible, but everyone on the team learned a painful lesson from it. So much so that I think it will serve as the benchmark for where not to go... "Let's not let this game be a Raiders Game!" Out guys figured we had that one in the bag. Now they know any game can get away from you. If we get up on the Titans we need to pour it on, NOT GO INTO PREVENT DEFENSE!
Actually, he's probably right. Week 17 has a very good chance of becoming "week 0" of the playoffs for the Jets -- winner moves on, loser's season could end. still to early to be sure (or worry about), but there's a significant chance it could come to that. It would be nice to see the4 Jets win out (or almost win out) and make it moot, but I would not be counting on that.
