I only pay $190.00 per year for my Sunday tix which includes 2 converters so I can watch 2 different games at the same time. When you figure that out over 17 weeks of the season that is only a few small pennies per game which I consider a terrific bargain
I assume Fios customers pay more? Theres a reason why Verizon doesnt get targeted. I assume its because they agree to everything and thus the customer makes up for their loses by paying more on bill. Cablevision said no to ABC last year and are doing the same for FOX. If CV agrees, that would mean more for the customer to pay.
you probably dont even have to buy a antenna label "HDTV antenna." I fount an old one in my house and I manage to get HD channels with at least 75% signal or more.
You must be grandfathered in. Their website says it costs $382 but like I said before cablevision and anybody else who wants it will have it after 2011 when their monopoly expires.
Well could be since I have had the service 12/13 years. As for the monopoly expiring in 2011 I think I read somewhere that the DTV contract with the NFL was extended thru 2014. If the cable companies became involved in it & they out bidded DTV for the contract then I would just purchase the service from them instead of DTV. Oh BTW I forgot to mention that the $190.00 cost also includes a free subscription to the NFLN as well
I'm pissed cablevision still does not carry NFL network. I would freaking pay for the channel, they need to get over it. That really pissed me off.
TW is the cable company here where I live & they to do not have the NFLN also. When Jerry Jones puts the Boys on NFLN you should hear the uproar since we live beyond the 90 miles from the stadium rule so the game is not on local TV & people have to bar hop to watch the game.
In a team's region, cable games are provided on over-the-air TV as well, by rule. If you live 90 miles from the stadium, that's in Dallas's TV territory.
He probably is because I think I'm paying $300--$50 over six months or something. I signed up in 2002 so my rate isn't as good as champ's but I think they do grandfather you a bit to when you signed up.
Sorry your info is incorrect or there are different rules where I live. 2 years ago the Boys played the Pack & it was a NFLN game & since we have TW cable which DOES NOT show the NFLN games it was NOT SHOWN where I live & people had to go bar hopping to see the game. For your guidance where I live is 200 miles from Dallas where the game was being played
How did you end up there, champ? Car run out of gas and you just said "yeah, here is good"? Also--why is my signature working only for about every other post? Anyone?
Of course FIOS will be targeted when their contract is up. Difference is they haven't been around long enough to have that happen yet.
90 miles from the stadium is within Dallas's TV territory. I didn't know you lived 200 miles away. That's different. Hell if I know. I've been wanting to change my signature for weeks and it isn't working.
