Jameis Winston will drop because of character issues. If the Jets want him I dont really hope they do then he could easily become a Jet.
I don't think it's happening either but I don't think that it's necessarily the best thing for the franchise. I think you'll find that time will show that Mariota and Winston are not the best two qbs from this draft. Cutler would be a great acquisition for us.
Jets have the best S0S right now and still play NE and Mia. I can't see us drafting higher than 3 no matter what and probably 4.
This. Honestly, 4th is probably our ceiling in terms of draft order now. We could pass Oak and Was if they each win 1 more and we lose out, but I don't think we can jump TB, TEN, or JAX.
CBS Sports had a mock draft up where we end up picking 6th. The QBs are gone, as is the Alabama WR and so the pick is a DE. Can you say worst case scenario?
I've said it before and I'll say it again...who cares about our draft spot...until I see whether or not John Idzik is around to lead this team, after the season is done, will determine how I feel about our spot. Because...I'm almost 100% certain he and his cronies would fuck it up. So it doesn't really matter. I'd rather pay LESS for his fuck up than more. That's my position and I'm sticking to it. Applies to the whole draft really so it doesn't matter.

Until I see that John Idzik is walking the unemployment line I don't care if we pick 1st or 32nd...he'll fuck it up so it's a moot point.
