ok, forgeting the whole money issue, why would NO want Bush? They already have Deuce McAllister who, when healthy, is one of the top 3-5 backs in the league? Makes no sense to me. More likely someone would trade up and get him with NO.
its not really that surprising though. If you get picked as the #1 draftee then you are going to a piss poor team. The career of a RB is often not that long because of the physical pounding they take, especially when playing for a poor team. although with the salary cap you get teams tunring things around more quickly it still usually takes a few years at least for a bad team to improve enough for it to be a contender, and even then there is not that many team that have won the superbowl. I think this is just another meaningless stat to be honest.
Sorry to disagree again , the saints A ; don't need him. B; Would look to trade the pick for future picks. D'Brick for the saints is a real possibility.
The Saints wouldn't take Bush. That makes the entire article irrelavent. Deuce McCallister is a top 5 RB, and is young.
It's only scenario's, not saying it's going to happen, i doubt bush goes to NO because NO wants mario, so does everybody through 32, so it's depending on who takes mario, then the draft will go accordingly. I still doubt he will fall to us, if ferguson and bush land to us which i doubt who would we take? Hmmmmm...
