How did Fitzgerald become the GOAT over Rice again? He's 37 years old. Rice still made the pro bowl at 40.
But it is the case since they started their rebuild like we are doing… take a closer look at the last 2 drafts. They went QB/WR then WR/Edge. Literally the 3 most important positions in football taken with their high picks.
You are correct Wilson and Burks aren’t Chase level prospects but they are still a better option than Linderbaum or Ekwonu
Nice attempt to spin, but that ignores all of previous drafts where Tobin has been in charge for the Bengals. Even then, its still an incorrect statement, as their second pick this year was a GUARD in Jackson Carman.
It’s not a bad point but those players haven’t been the impact players on the team. Even if they prioritized them, they benched Billy Price in 2020 and then traded him away, while Jackson Carman was a swing tackle behind a bad right tackle and a mediocre at best left tackle in Jonah Williams, the third first round pick being referenced. They prioritized offensive line to an extent and the weakness of the team was covered up because they have elite skill position players which includes three second rounders and a top 5 pick that everyone thought they were were crazy for making over an offensive tackle who was nearly given a gold jacket already by draftniks.
