ESPN is to sports what MTV is to music.

My fingers couldn't click over to SNY faster last night.

I don't think he is overrated at all, any QB looks average when they are under constant pressure.

I would take him in a heartbeat and sign him to a 10 year contract if he eve was available to the
    Jets.

I can't wait for Richardson and Mauldin to get back in the lineup, it's going to be a beautiful thing to see that defense hitting on all cylinders.

simple solution: sign the first openly gay, transgender, bullied, person ever to play QB and make him/her the starter. BSPN would set up a satellite studio directly in Florham Park. The Jets would be the story every single day 24/7, and win or lose they would have nothing but praise for the organization.

ESPN needs new "experts". Anyone with a brain saw the Colts had the same problems that they had last year. Luck covered it up last year and this year not so much

If you watched it at noon all they were talking about was how great the Jets defense is and that once they get Richardson back they might be all time special.

Had to work; It wasn't the entirety of the channel;; just the substance when the jets were brought up it was 90% Colts lost the game 10% Jets won the game

Its a damn shame what ESPN has become...used to be wall to wall highlights and now the entire hour of sportscenter is spent talking about what somebody said on Twitter, gay athletes, women's sports, racism, and other "social issues". Since ABC took over the station completely in 2006 or 2007 its gone completely downhill

I do find Lindsay Czarniak or however you spell her name to be quite attractive.

I know, I was just making a observation.

I see her often at 6PM sportscenter

But yet, most if not all sports casters are absolute dinosaurs or egotistical useless buffoons.

Most of ESPN is like most electronica/dubstep -- it's all just alien-generated noise.

heaven forbid women's sports or institutional questions about the business are covered by a major sports media outlet from time to time… but yes I agree that SC in particular should be a highlight show first and foremost. Alas its mostly an attention starved racket looking for the next big controversy to pounce on these days. (most cable news is these days unfortunately Fox, MSNBC, CNN…)

I stopped watching out of disinterest years ago but swore off the shit besides games after they wouldn't let the butt fumble go like a snickering 10 year old would. Gotta hold our media to a higher standard, which means not rewarding bad behavior.

  14. Everything is this big debate & about hearing as many "expert" opinions on a matter as possible. Not just the Television network..their radio feeds are the same BS. Hate it.

Remember in the 80's when they'd show a lot CFL games? Back in the Tom Mees days... They were a true celebration of sports back then.

I would much rather see teams like the Giants get all the publicity during the season for blowing leads because of bonehead plays from the QB, with the attention turning to the Jets in the play-offs because they are the only ones left playing.

The guy has more turnovers since the beginning of last year than anyone not named Jay Cutler. Or including Jay Cutler, I forget which. But he's basically become the pre-Odell Eli with more positive pub. Which is a good QB but not the all-world guy he's made out to be. Especially when they keep getting butt-whacked against the Pats every single time.
