    Judon as well.... Pats Richard Seymour....Jets with John Abraham (pick turned into Mangold, a 10-year starter and all-pro that anchored the Jets most sucessful period since SB III). Well-run franchises not re-signing good players is the norm- particularly when they're deemed too expensive for their production relative to the other needs on the team.

    What is not the norm is a team with a bottom-4 offensive line winning anything. But alas, that's what the Jets have had during the entire JD and Saleh tenure.

    Don't overpay. That means feeling comfortable letting guys walk if need be and building a balanced roster.

    Dressing 11 high resourced defensive linemen or whatever the heck they do is not balanced

    You're seriously comparing the Ravens to the Jets? The Jets need to keep all the homegrown studs you can. They don't have the luxury of having a well run Front Office like the Ravens. And you trust the Jets front office to make the most out of those comp picks? Hell they can't even get our own picks right after Round 1.

    The Jets are in a really tough spot. The best thing they can do now is keep their most productive players.
