There really is no excuse for a poor performance against the Colts running game today even with the dinged up line. Jets D should be able to stop Vick Ballard who does not appear to be anything special.
You forgot the outcome where Darrelle Revis holds out for a new contract demanding $100 million+ and Nick Mangold gets hurt early on leaving the Jets with no coherency on the offensive side of the ball. That outcome is at least as likely as any of the 3 you posited.
