bryan thomas = no rush

    well, lucky for us Dline appears to be pretty glaring this year :lol: :beer:

    I'd be OK with the lack of a pass rush if we were still stopping the run, but Mendenhall and Forte gashed us behind pretty weak OLines. That is not a good.

    I also think the DLine is getting worn down from all of the injuries. Jenks, Ropi, Pryce, even Ellis looks hurt). Combine that with Leonhard, Smith, Pace's broken foot, Revis and his hammy, and Ihedigbo and this is one banged up unit.

    Am I the only one who forgot that he existed? I may have to rethink my stance on DE being a glaring need vs an unknown...

    I still want JJ Watt. Still, the idea of having that 6'9" batard on the DLine next season is rather intriguing.

    Bryan Thomas is very good against the run.. terrible rushing the passer. That's really all there is to it. I can't imagine he will be back next year unless he reduces his salary and stays on as a part-timer. I know I'm not saying anything new here, but they badly need some youth up front. They need to get younger, more athletic, and hopefully it results in a better pass rush.
