Reed has a rare combination of acceleration and power. Also, his closing speed is ridiculous. Theres quite a few plays where you see him explode into the ballcarrier and accelerate a few yards before contact. One play that stood out to me was where he had to redirect downfield and there were about 3 of his teammates closer to the RB yet he closed in on him before anyone. not to mention the guy plays angry every snap and thats nothing you can teach. Reed has "football player" written all over him. I think your earlier points were on guys who used a 40 time to shoot up boards. Reed's grade has continued to improve simply because hes done nothing but justify his stock boost since the Senior Bowl which I must say he displayed multiple seperation techniques. things both Lawson and Spencer lacked. one thing I love about him is the ability to dip low get underneath blockers pads and turn the corner on them. also he seems to blow through RB's trying to get their feet under themselves before throwing blocks
Kyle Wilson? Gholston still had great production in college, the combine elevated him to the Top 10 but he was still one of the top guys that year before he destroyed the combine.
