We actually will win the academy award if we let people think we will just cut him. That means the Broncos and everybody else will have to fight over him. That would be the best way to get a higher draft pick than just taking whatever Denver wants to offer now. We have until June to do something.
The Key to this years draft is to have 2 2nd roun picks. We have Thomas/Barton Penny and D-rob available to make it work
That's what I call a "bargain." I think Thomas is going to play well for the NYJ this year. Barton should be kept as an inexpensive backup. Chad may start if he wins this open competition. We still don't know whether anybody is going to part with some draft pick(s) for DRob. I believe that if the NYJs can't trade DRob for value then they will renegotiate his contract and play him.
whatever we get for roberstson is fine w/me, as long as we dont have to pay him 11 million for his 32 tackles and 2.5 sacks, i wouldnt mind however if we brought him back at a lower salary [a lot lower] much like we did to chad in 06
