Ooh, ooh, I want to play, too.

Francesser said all Jets fans are scumbags.

Francesser drove over a dog last night after he took his eye off the road to grab a bag of Cheetos from the passenger seat.

Francesser doesn't give out candy on Halloween.

I have battled with some people in the Francesser thread. Some correctly report what Francesser says. However, there are other people who, at best, distort stuff he says and, at worst, completely lie about what Francesser says. In turn, this fires up some people here who don't listen to Francesser's show.

That is interesting because Mike Francesa made the battery go dead in Kim Jones' car this morning.

Who knew the guy knew anything about cars?

That is a valid point, and to be honest I don't know an alternative. Perhaps have two types of penalty? Like if they simply pull or tug on the receiver and don't fully impede them have it be 15 yards and have it be the full penalty if they blatantly tackle or shove the player?

Or maybe the defenders should just play by the rules and not commit the foul. Then their would be no issue.

and that not only makes as little sense, it makes it more complicated and makes as little sense. yeah, that's progress and making the game better.

Francesca said on Sunday Night that the refs made the right call and they had to call it.

Look, Mike is a Giants and Bill Parcells fan....and some of the Jet moron callers to WFAN tee him off....but at the end of the day he'd probably rather have the Jets in the Super Bowl than be talking about Spring Training 2011 come January and February.

He's good friends with Tannenbaum and a few other Jets officials, BTW.

You guys want to see a BS call, check out the homer call for All-Pro Andre Johnson in the Texans-KC game against nobody Brandon Flowers.

Should have been OFFENSIVE PI on Johnson, instead they called Flowers for defensive PI.

Now THAT'S a bull**** call, not the one on Holmes.

by this reasoning, the broncs should have just all run out on the field and started to celebrate 'excessively'. then that would have been just a 15 yard penalty.

i think there is 'illegal contact' too...that generally covers the less dramatic stuff.

I really don't get how anyone can justify anything other than a PI call.

Did he interfere with the WR's attempt to make a catch on the football? Yes.

    Okay, now move along.

i think that, just as important as the facemask was, the fact t hat the db wasn't playing the ball was key. if the db went up, facing the ball and not the receiver, and got his hand tangled in the facemask, it would have been ignored.

Right so 75% of the fans can say the game is fixed for the superstars. The NBA is worst officiated sport in this country. This new players can't question a call is the icing of the cake (no pun intended).
