Why would it worry you if some guy named Brodney Poole fell at home? It's not like anyone with that name plays for the Jets.
He was the 1st Safety off the board...dude is a player and I can't imagine the impact he has with how nasty the rest of the Jets D is. Going to be a stud for this secondary.
Some of the media outlets are going to be talking about him as a darkhorse for the Pro Bowl. That's not nearly as rediculous as it sounds. I saw a few people were talking about Sione Pouha as a darkhorse for the Pro Bowl last season and he wasn't even a starter until Jenkins got hurt.
hes very soft spoken but he seems hes in the league to play football and not try to make it in hollywood (kerry rhodes)...he seems like the type of player to let his actions on the field speak for themselves just like our other safety jimmy leonhard...he is def one of our sleeper signings of the offseason
If Pool is a player, can stay healthy, and we re-sign him, that would be HUGE for this defense. If he can play to his talent, we will have a ridiculously good secondary. I expect really good things out of Cromartie, who will be back to playing to his strengths in man coverage. That's why I kinda want to wait on drafting a FS, or at least not with 1 of our 1st to picks (unless Earl Thomas fall, or maybe is Nate Allen is around at the end of the 2nd).
I've got a feeling the front office feels the same way. I think we should go with a couple front 7 players with our first 2 picks.
yeah he is going to be the sleeper until the first few games. i saw some videos on him can't believe i only heard of this guy once.
