That is what I keep saying. To lose to Jax, it could happen. But to drop 2 in a row - I don't think so. Better we win out and NE beats Jax.

    Pats

I am rooting for the Pats because they will not lose 2 in a row, I do not want to have to count on Herm and I did not mail in my playoff money.

that Giants game was dreadful and I had to suffer through it because there was no real football on.

They really don't deserve the playoffs. Ugh. NFC sucks...

Where I live I wouldn't have gotten a 1:00 game, but 10 miles southwest where I work, I got the BAL/PIT game. Go figure...

While a lot of you may not like to hear this you talk of a team that makes the big play NE is that team. They certainly have a considerable amount of proudness & pride on that team. Yesterday Jax scored a TD & the Pats get the ball back at there own 18 & go 3 & out gaining 0 yds. NE punts & Jax gets the ball back around there own 40 with about 1.50 left in the game. They then move the ball to the Pats 40 with about 1.00 left in the game. They are almost to FG range at this point which will tie the game. Then on the next play the Pats MAKE THE BIG PLAY by flushing Garrard from the pocket & then making him fumble the ball which naturally the Pats recovered & game is over. That is what good teams do & why the Pats are considered the elite & we are not up to now.

That was a forward pass. The refs got it wrong.

H'mm it was reviewed by the NFL officals as there were less then 2 minutes left in the game. If your HO is different then put in your resume to the NFL to be a replay offical if you think you have better eyes then they do.

The Pats may still be considered to be the team to rise to the occassion; however, the Jets having come away with a recent win against them are going to start seeing them as beatable. That is the kind of confidence our team needs to build toward the future. The Pats, proud or not, have had a bad habit of playing down to their competition all year. It will likely catch up with eventually.
