Of course they won't. They were in the news a few weeks back for trying to tow a car with two kids inside it. Legally parked. I understand that the towing business is a grimy one, but that's insane. They also were exposed the other day trying to shop that tape before it came out. Trying to sell it to a bunch of websites. No one bit bc she really isn't that big of a deal. Normally I don't have a problem with legit towing companies doing there jobs. There's plenty of people who park in a lot without proper tags or park in one store's lot but don't shop there. If you are dumb enough to ignore very visible signs, you deserve what you get. It's when there aren't signs or they aren't visible that I have problems. The towing company in question regularly tows legally parked cars. They tow cars with kids in them. They tow cars with pets in them then leave said cars in their lot for hours in the heat. The woman who runs the counter? Well known for verbally abusing "customers". They also have a F rating from the BBB.
No, you just showed your ignorance. People in her line of work probably do not have a great insurance plan and dentures are usually not a first option. I know I just paid over $800 for a root canal and one crown with decent insurance. A single mother like her probably does not have $1000 to throw down for one tooth, the single tooth extraction is a much cheaper option and that is probably why she went that route.
After living in Asia for the last 7 months what I've learned is that health/dental care in the US is so beyond ridiculously overpriced it's beyond comprehension. I could walk into the dentist today and get my teeth cleaned for about 10 dollars US. I had to get meds the other day that cost me about 16 dollars with my doctor visit included (and no insurance mind you) , the meds alone in the US would have been 170 dollars WITH insurance.
