Ha if he makes a change it will be a miracke. Also if he does he will change the teams colors giving the excuse that those colors belonged to Hess so he can recoup all the money he would pay BC. He will figure that what the heck if the NYJ fans can pay for a new stadium thru PSLs then what the heck make them pay for the new coach by having to buy all new NYJ gear due to the change in colors
What a great response. Almost 100 signatures since I posted the site 12 hours ago. You guys kick ass.
You should read over your letter to Woody Johnson man. There are some changes you should make if it's actually going to be sent to the owner.
Honestly, I really don't think Woody's gonna make any move based on an internet petition. I'm not too worried about it.
Probably not but its worth a shot. If this becomes big and sigs keep coming in it might be worth sprucing it up a bit.
You are absolutely incorrect. There's a lot more to our last 4 games then the coaching staff. Remember that phantom holding call on Leon's run. Remember the tight end dropping a must have 4th down? Yes ; it can be said that the coaching staff is at fault here , but not solely.
We'll see what happens. If it blows up, I'll make a thread, collect some thoughts, and take it from there. But, thinking like a true Jets fan, we're just not that lucky. Appreciate the input!
I think this needs to be bumped. Everyone should sign this petition. I just did, and that makes me #151. We have a voice, people. Let's use it.
I'm in and signed....we need experienced coaching! Petrozza...what about a sticky for this thread? Peace!! The Mezz
Sticky is a good suggestion. Will people overlook it though? Would it be better to continue bumping it?
I don't have enough posts to start a new thread (weird rule) so I guess I'll just post it in here. What do you guys think of taking a look at Steve Spagnuolo for head coach? I know he just turned down the Skins job last offseason and signed a 3 year extension with the Giants, but it couldn't hurt to contact him. Cowher is certainly still my number 1 choice because he is a proven winner in this league, but I honestly think Spagnuolo could be a really great head coach with his aggressive approach to the game.
He's great, but we need a coach who will stay consistent with the 3-4 and/or use a hybrid. This D is like 3 fast players away from being dominant. I think Cowher and the Ryans are the guys who know how to spot those players.
I think with our OLB being former 4-3 DE, and with Gholston being a former 4-3 DE we could probably make the switch back fairly easily. I do think the 3-4 can be great with the right play calling and the right assembled talent, but I really like how the Eagles and Giants play the 4-3. Aggressive and always attacking and making the QB uncomfortable. Thats how you win games.
I'm going to the mall today and I was thinking about typing up little slips of paper with the website, and just leaving trails of them around the mall.
